Stage 3 of the ISOP Campione Main Event concludes with the first Italian winner of this season, after foreign triumphs in the first two stages. The winner is Andrea Corinaldesi, who shifts into an irresistible gear with 4 players left and overwhelms everyone, including an excellent Silvia Lollino who finishes with an excellent third place.
ISOP Campione Main Event: first Italian success of the season with Andrea Corinaldesi
The ISOP Campione Main Event for this Stage 3 ends with the success of a “partially” surprising name. Partially because Andrea Corinaldesi is not a professional, but he is certainly a long-time regular of live tournaments. The epilogue saw him prevail after an even deal with the true “technical favorite” of the final table, namely Alessio Astone. But let’s take a few steps back.
Astone chipleader of the final table, but Lollino in contact
It restarted with 26 left and with Giorgio Furlan as chipleader, but from the beginning this tournament treated the pre-existing hierarchies rather poorly. Furlan goes down then back up, and so does Coletta who finds a vital double up with 12 left. The character of the final day – and more generally of this tournament – is Silvia Lollino.
Already the “last woman standing” of the tournament for a long time, the player from Varese demonstrated excellent qualities and knowledge of the game’s dynamics. Starting with the fifth stack, she puts on the turbo in the pre-final table winning important pots and a crucial double up KQ vs A3 and K on the board. Thus, Silvia arrives at the final table second in chips with 5 million, not far from the chipleader who was Alessio Astone, in command with 5.5 million.
Astone consolidates his stack as “commander”, eliminating Esposito who had tried as a short stack with K6, but finding Alessio ready for the call with A3. Previously, Andrea De Giovannetti had been the first eliminated from the final table.
Andrea Corinaldesi: “Moto” shifts gears
At this point, however, Andrea Corinaldesi takes center stage, first eliminating Caramazza (who had become short in a preflop clash with Lollino), then finds the most important double up of his life when Astone puts him all-in with A4 but Andrea peels KK and finds no resistance from the board.

Then, it is again Corinaldesi who puts an end to Silvia Lollino’s dream. The player from Varese had tried with k 10, Andrea challenges her with a 9 and fate already appears sealed on the flop a 7 4 . The 3 on the turn makes her drawing dead and Silvia Lollino is the third-place finisher.
Then, our Giorgio Sigon stops her for a quick – and well-deserved – interview

Heads up, deal and triumph for “Moto”
Arriving at heads up with very close stacks, Astone and Corinaldesi agree on an even deal, leaving just over a thousand euros to accompany the trophy, in addition to the relative points valid for the ranking.
The victory goes to Andrea Corinaldesi, who thus succeeds Friedrich Raz and Florin Bilan in the hall of fame of this ISOP Season 2025/26.
For “Moto” (the nickname by which Corinaldesi is known in the environment) a first prize of €33,300!
