On a Sunday marked by the Main Event finale, the PokerStars Live Room in Campione d’Italia hosted the final events of the PokerStars Open Campione 2026. Three spades were awarded, one of which to the Italian Matteo Pedrali. The top winner of the day, despite not winning a spade, is Fabio Giamberardini.

PokerStars Open Campione: Kotowicz wins the Mystery Bounty Cup but Giamberardini is excellent
The most anticipated event yesterday, apart from the Main Event, was the Mystery Bounty Cup, a €400 buy-in tournament that attracted 749 participants. A total of 112 players were in the money, but the focus was also on the mystery bounties, the highest of which were €10,000. One of these was claimed by Fabio Giamberardini from Abruzzo, who finished runner-up to the Pole Sebastian Kotowicz but was the top winner of the tournament, albeit by a small margin. This can be seen from the final table payout, shown below:

Outside the final table, our Riccardo Panicali didn’t fare too badly, finishing 40th but snagging the other €10,000 top bounty, for a total of €12,500 in bounties and a global win of €13,000.
Among other “tasty” Mystery bounties, the Spaniard Gerard Carbo did well (47th for €7,500, including €7,000 in bounties), as did other Italians William Mancini (61st for €6,500 in bounties and €6,920 total) and Stefano Pavesi (€5,000 in bounties and €5,660 payday for his 31st place).

Event #23: Schamne takes the spade
Next up was event #23, a €220 No Limit Hold’em played in a single day, which saw 170 participants at the tables and a final table with five Italians. The best of our players was Federica Tasca, who narrowly missed the spade, finishing second behind the German Johann Schamne. Here’s how it went down:

PokerStars Open Campione 2026: Pedrali wins the Last Chance
The PokerStars Open Campione 2026 festival finally concluded with a spade awarded – at last – to an Italian player. This was thanks to Matteo Pedrali, who, after a heads-up deal with Israeli player Ezra, was able to celebrate. The two had left behind a field of 101 entries in the Last Chance Deep Stack, a €550 No Limit Hold’em tournament. Here is the final table:
