Stage 3 of the ISOP, the Italian Series Of Poker, is about to kick off in Campione, and will keep us company at the Casino di Campione until February 16th, when the Main Event winner will be crowned.

The PokerStars branded casino is therefore ready to welcome all players who do not want to miss this new February live event, and the ultimate test will be the Free Roll to be played on the late afternoon of Wednesday, February 11th.
But let’s take things in order and start with the Main Event program.
ISOP Main Event Special Price Day 1s
Among the entry days for the ISOP Main Event, those that truly deserve to be highlighted are the Day 1 Special Price ones.
Not so much for a superficial detail, but for a very practical reason: these are the flights where ISOP, PokerStars, and the Campione casino lower the economic threshold without touching the structure, and this combination of a more affordable price and the same technical setup is exactly what drives more people to choose those dates.
The result is immediate and the same as the great success in the previous two stages: they are often the first to become crowded, and if you want to plan your trip with a minimum of certainty, it’s best to think about it before others.
The first “discounted” slot is Day 1A, scheduled for Thursday, February 12th at 6:00 PM. Here the tournament maintains its full configuration: 50,000 chips starting stack and 40-minute levels, so a real Main Event pace, without shortcuts.
The difference is the cost: €300 in total for a flight that is played with two main guidelines: one re-entry is allowed, and the day is set to play 11 levels, thus with a well-defined playing perimeter.
Subsequent ISOP Main Event Flights
The following day, Friday, February 13th at 2:00 PM, it’s Day 1B‘s turn, still in the Special Price version but with a higher buy-in: €400.
Here too, however, the structure remains identical to the “standard” one: same starting stack and same level duration, with the idea of offering a second convenient window to those arriving in Campione on the same day or who prefer an afternoon start.

From Friday evening onwards, we enter the Full Price flights, which are at the full rate: Day 1C (Friday evening) and Day 1D (Saturday at 2:00 PM) both cost €500, maintaining 50,000 chips and 40 minutes per level.
Finally, on Saturday, there’s the last chance with Day 1E Fast: buy-in €400, unchanged stack but faster pace, as levels drop to 20 minutes, perfect for those who want one last attempt in a quicker format.
On Day 2, the level duration extends to 50 minutes and play starts at 1:00 PM on Sunday, February 15th, with a Buy-In of €500 available until level 3 of the day, while the final day is scheduled for Monday, February 16th starting at 1:00 PM.

The Free Roll on Wednesday, February 11th
If, on the other hand, you want to take another route without spending money and have already decided to come to Campione, it’s worth keeping an eye on the Live Freeroll organized directly in the Poker Room by PokerStars.
In this case, we are talking about a Free Roll tournament, designed to give an opportunity to those seeking access to the Main Event through the “side door” of the Main Event entry completely free of charge.
The appointment is set for Wednesday, February 11th at 7:00 PM, in the late afternoon, and it’s played in freezeout format, meaning no re-entry once eliminated. The structure is simple and clear: 15,000 chips starting stack and 15-minute levels, with a rather fast pace but still sufficient to approach the tournament reasonably.
The main prize, of course, is the reward: 10 tickets for the Main Event, each worth €500, are guaranteed for those who manage to reach the end.
